Episode 23 - Season Recap Awards Show

The L&N crew hosts the inaugural Season Recap Awards to hand out the most prestigious accolades in all of college athletics (move over Heisman Trophy).  All prior guests of the show were eligible for an award, so hard decisions had to be made.  Join in for the fun, the debate, and relive what has been an amazing and action-packed first season for the podcast.

Episode 22 - Special Guest Landan Updates on "The Game"

Dan catches up with a very special guest - Landan - one our listeners who won our OSU ticket giveaway contest back in November.  Landan was able to take in The Game down in Columbus with his Dad...so we just HAD to catch up with him to hear about his gameday experience at the Shoe.  He dishes on how the big moments of the game played out in the stadium, his view of the game aftermath, and the joyous walk back to the car through Columbus.

Episode 19 - Jordan Hobbs

Jordan Hobbs is the second member of the Women's Basketball team to join the podcast!  Jordan has been dialed in this season for the 9-2 Wolverines, scoring more than 13 points a game so far this year.   She's been a constant presence through a massive roster changeover between last season and this year.  She shares the inside scoop about her unique role as a veteran presence in the new age of NIL & transfer portal landscape.

Episode 18 - Olivia Olson

The Leaders & Next crew stretch their horizons into the world of Michigan basketball with Olivia Olson - one of the stars of the (now) 7-1 Women's bball team.  Olivia is a member of Michigan's loaded freshman recruiting class.  In the episode - Olivia dishes on the successful start to the season, her recruiting journey, and her exciting entrepreneurial passion of landscaping.  Bonus: the L&N guys fight over the rules of H.O.R.S.E while Olivia referees.

Episode 17 - Wide Receiver Peyton O'Leary

Football, Lacrosse, Basketball - in this episode, we discover that there isn't anything that Peyton O'Leary isn't good at.  Starting his career as a walk-on, Peyton has quickly earned a major role on Michigan's offense as a go-to receiver.  He's scored in big moments, including a touchdown against the #1 team in the country.  He gives us the scoop on one of Michigan's secret weapons (coach Steve Casula) and dishes on his dream (non-football) career of sports broadcasting.

Episode 16 - Defensive Lineman Enow Etta

True Freshman Enow Etta joins the show!  Enow dishes on navigating 3 (!) position coaching changes during his Michigan tenure, his plans for playing inside vs. outside on the line, and ... of course ... how Brian Kelly's dancing videos dissuaded him from choosing LSU. 
At the end of the episode - we have a Leaders & Next first where Enow has a few interview questions for the hosts!

Episode 15 - Running Back Jordan Marshall

Jordan Marshall is Michigan's first Top 100 recruit from Ohio since 2013.  He has already seen action in his true freshman season and looks like play a bigger role in the 2nd half of the season.  We talk to Jordan about his high-profile recruitment, his quick adjustment to the college game...and we get a special guest star for the Two Minute Drill to top it all off!!

Episode 14 - Running Back Benjamin Hall

Ben Hall comes to Michigan by way of Georgia, and is on his way to be the next great Michigan running back.  Ben takes us through his (wild) recruitment and high school journey prior to Michigan and his fast start to his career at Michigan (multiple stand-out spring games and playing time in 2023) ... before we do one of the best "two-minute drills" in Leaders and Next history.
